Specna Arms meets the expectations of its customers by providing the market with a wide range of efficient LiPo batteries that meet the needs of each user – It doesn't matter if you're looking for a stored battery, a battery stored in the handguard or a battery stored in the laser sight case – this and much more can be found in the offer which allows even longer games.
The battery is designed and ideally compatible with Specna Arms EDGE replicas equipped with PDW stocks.
Lithium ion packs (LiPo) they are the successors of the well-known lithium-ion packs (LiIon). The fundamental advantage of LiPo is undoubtedly the relationship between capacity and size. The packs are very small in size while maintaining a very high electrical efficiency, which allows you to choose an appropriate package for virtually every AEG replica. They do not have a memory effect. It can be recharged very frequently, without the need to be completely downloaded. Frequent charging is beneficial for every type of battery.
It is crucial to remember not to discharge a LiPo pack to a level lower than 3 V per cell and not to overload beyond that 4,2 V for cell. Another advantage of LiPo packs is a small self-discharge rate. An unused package will lose approximately 3 – 5% of energy per month. It is important to pay attention to an unused package as there is a risk that, following a prolonged period of non-use, may discharge below the minimum acceptable value (3 V for cell) and involuntary chemical reactions may occur, leading to a deterioration of the properties of the package including permanent damage and, in extreme cases, a fire. An unused LiPo pack should be charged on average 70%.
If used correctly, a LiPo package has an average exploitation period of 500 – 700 cycles. An important factor is the temperature at which LiPo packs can work. Unlike other batteries, LiPo cells work well at low temperatures. However, they must be charged at room temperature. To maintain the good condition of LiPo batteries, it is necessary to balance them during charging with a service connector, present in most LiPo packs (a good LiPo charger has a built-in balancer).
