This head is specifically designed for fast bursts, both for the very low weight
both for its very low resistance to air recirculation inside the cylinder.
In practice this head is designed not only to maximize the compression of the advancing air,
but also to facilitate its restoration when the piston moves back.
All this avoids the loss of power due to low air pressure during faster gusts.

The FPS spring from 100 m/s was calibrated on rods from 363 mm e gearbox con cilindro type D (for rods 301 a 400 mm).
